Baldwin Farms offers three types of activities at the farm:  (1)  Field Trips; (2) Children’s Parties; and (3) Adult Events.  Our rules and prices vary according to the amount of time required of our staff and facilities.  See our chart below. 

We only schedule field trips and parties during the Festival Season.  Harvest is a very exciting time of the year to visit the farm. If you have a classroom, a group activity or a birthday to celebrate, you may want to spend some time with us during the Festival. We know you’ll have lots of fun!  A scenic day in the country is a wonderful way to celebrate any event  while providing educational opportunities for the children.

Check our schedule for the current Pumpkins & More Festival dates and times.  We can only accommodate school field trips Monday through Friday. Please reserve your date as far in advance as possible to avoid conflicts in scheduling with other organizations.  We do our best to accommodate your requests to make your trip special.  Parties may be scheduled on the weekends with appropriate chaperones. 

Adults who wish to schedule our shelter for meetings and events may call to see if your event can be accommodated.  We regret we do not have the staff to handle some types of activities during our busiest seasons. The shelter is available for adult rental during off-peak hours.  Other services may be provided upon request for a separate fee.  Please call to discuss your event.   

   Reservations

You may contact us directly by phone to make your reservation.  Prepare for your visit by reading the instructions carefully.  Most of your questions can be answered by the Instruction Form (pdf) offered in the chart.  If you have other questions, please contact us.  (We have discontinued the fax reservation system.) 

Field trips generally include the activities of the Pumpkins & More Festival Season. We include some fun items to make their trip more memorable.  Farm time is a sharing time.  Relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.  During the harvest, there are pumpkins, corn shocks, salsa, local honey, apples, cider, mums, Amish jams, sorghum, and fresh vegetables to brighten up the landscape.  The children choose pumpkins, frolic in the hay maze, play games, feed the pet goats or get a Baldwin Farm tattoo.  Picnic tables are provided.  You are invited to bring a lunch.

Children’s parties generally include setting up with picnic table and chairs.  The children are invited to participate in the farm activities.  You will be responsible for decorations, refreshments and supervision, in addition to anything they wish to purchase while at the farm.  You may wish to bring a birthday cake, drinks, lunch or other snacks.  We have drinks and snacks available for sale at the farm.  

Adult events generally include setting up picnic tables and chairs under the shelter.  A barbecue grill can be available by request.  You will be responsible for decorations, food, drinks and other things you require.

We're open free to the public while your children's event is taking place. There is a $2.00 per adventure fee for the Corn Maze. This fee is not included in the price of your reservation.   Other activities may be available at the farm and will change from time to time.  Currently, we have a huge Bouncy Castle ($5.00),  Pony Ride ($5.00) and Face Painting  on the weekends.  Come enjoy the Pumpkin Festival with us!
